Homeostasis
Online on august 14th, 2025.
After several years of performing on international digital arts and electronic music stages (MUTEK – Tokyo, Buenos Aires, Chile, Barcelona, Sonica, HYBRID, No Conventional), artists Ida Toninato and Pierre-Luc Lecours unveil Homeostasis, a powerful and organic album born from the encounter between baritone saxophone, modular synthesizers, and a sensitive reflection on the state of the world.
Active since 2021, the duo creates immersive performances that draw listeners into instrumental and audiovisual musical narratives. Their approach explores the porous boundaries between acoustic and electronic, human and nature.
Homeostasis is crafted from the orchestrations of their eponymous audiovisual performance. Recorded in studio, the album blends improvisation, layered sonic textures, and structures inspired by the Fibonacci sequence, ecological principles, and systems in search of equilibrium. Each piece offers a deep dive into a distinct emotional state, revealing moments of tension, friction, and contemplation.
This new release marks a significant milestone in their collaborative journey, following two previous works presented across three continents (Inner Seas, 2021 and Homeostasis, 2023).
The album is available for streaming on Bandcamp (august 14th) and all the digital streaming platform:

The album consists of 5 tracks where modular synthesizer lines, performed and recorded in one go, weave soundscapes where rhythms and melodic lines intertwine and overlap, creating constantly changing sound textures. The colors and lines of the music blend and separate, creating a contemplative and multicolored listening experience.
